Tongshu (通書), also called Tong Sheng or Huangli, is an almanac of the Chinese calendar tradition. It brings together the lunar calendar, the sixty-day cycle and traditional date selection.
The twelve day officers describe the relationship between the day branch and the solar month. A general day category does not apply equally to every activity: read the 宜 and 忌 lists separately.
Where does the data come from?+
Calculations use the open-source lunar-javascript 1.7.7 library. Daily 宜 (suitable) and 忌 (avoid) lists come from this data source, not AI-generated predictions. Almanac editions may differ.
Which time zone is used?+
Today follows your device’s local date. The home page starts with today whenever you open it. A selected date represents a traditional Chinese calendar day with a midnight boundary, not a personal BaZi reading.
Tradition with transparency
This almanac is a cultural and reflective guide, not a scientifically validated prediction. Do not base medical, financial or legal decisions on it.
